Health inspection reports for Huron County eateries are released

The health department inspection reports for Huron County food establishments in September have been released.

The health department inspection reports for Huron County food establishments in September 2012 have been released.

The following food establishments received no violations:

East of Chicago; 56 Main, Greenwich; operator, Randy and Susan Fishbaugh (Sept. 5, regular inspection) -- No violations. Inspector's comments: Great job!

Greenwich Beverage Center; 15 W. Main St., Greenwich; operator, Greenwich Beverage Center LLC (Sept. 5, regular inspection) -- No violations.

Hunter's Brew; 27 Main St., Greenwich; operator, Geneva Hunter (Sept. 5, regular inspection) -- No violations.

Plymouth Community Center; 48 W. Broadway, Plymouth; operator, Village of Plymouth (Sept. 6, regular inspection) -- No violations.

Willard Healthcare Center; 725 Wessor Ave., Willard; operator, THS of Ohio at Willard, LLC (Sept. 6, regular inspection) -- Inspector's comments: Facility is closed. They have a new building and the patients have been moved there.

Econolodge; 342 Milan Ave., Norwalk; operator, Prabhudas D. Patel (Sept. 8, regular inspection) -- No violations. Inspector's comments: Good job.

Greenwich Little League Concession; 45 Main St., Greenwich; operator, Village of Greenwich (Sept. 10, regular inspection) -- No violations. Inspector's comments: Facility is not operating at this time, but has proper equipment.

Greenwich Softball Concession; 45 Main St., Greenwich; operator, Village of Greenwich (Sept. 10, regular inspection) -- No violations. Inspector's comments: Facility has not been in use this season.

NRP - Pitside Pizza; 1300 Ohio 18, Norwalk; operator, Norwalk Raceway Park, Inc. (Sept. 15, regular inspection) -- Inspector's comments: Facility is currently under construction. Plans will need to be submitted to the health department that include a layout drawing of the new facility, a menu, and a list of any equipment. The Richland County Building department and Richland County Plumbing Department will need to be contacted to obtain necessary permits.

Greenwich Little League Concession; 45 Main St., Greenwich; operator, Village of Greenwich (Sept. 19, regular inspection) -- No violations. Inspector's comments: Facility not in use.

Greenwich Softball Concession; 45 Main St., Greenwich; operator, Village of Greenwich (Sept. 19, regular inspection) -- No violations. Inspector's comments: Facility not in use.

Rich Oil; 183 Milan Ave., Norwalk; operator, Speedway LLC (Sept. 20, follow-up inspection) -- Inspector's comments: The facility has installed the three-compartment sink and a handwashing sink by a registered plumber.

The Sports Hut; 938 W. Main St., Bellevue; operator, Paul Ruffing (Sept. 20, follow-up inspection) -- Inspector's comments: Critical violations have been corrected - thank you!

Mr. Pizza Head; 10 S. Main St., New London; operator, Nicholas J. Bannworth (Sept. 21, follow-up inspection) -- No violations.

New London Lanes, Inc.; 136 W. Main St., New London; operator, William Winiarski (Sept. 21, regular inspection) -- No violations.

Bob Evans Farms; 4800 U.S. 250 North, Norwalk; operator, Bob Evans Farms, Inc. (Sept. 25, follow-up inspection) -- Inspector's comments: Cold holding salad bar unit has been repaired and is holding an internal temperature of time/temperature controlled for safety (TCS) foods below 41 degrees F.
