Volunteer firefighter retires after 42 years of service

Members of the Berlin Township Volunteer Fire Department honored Ronald Smith during his retirement dinner Saturday.

Smith, 66, volunteered as a fireman at the Berlin station for 42 years. He is retiring because of health reasons. A feature story about him was published on the front page of Monday's Reflector.
