Chad C. Holbrook, 36, whose address was unavailable, was arrested following an altercation Tuesday on Whittlesey Avenue. He was charged with disorderly conduct and held in the city jail until sober.

Received a call Tuesday about an East League Street juvenile female who might be considering harming herself.

A West Elm Street resident accused her daughter of stealing some jewelry from her home Tuesday. Police forwarded a report to the Norwalk Law Director for the consideration of charges.

Tiffany A. Striker, 21, whose address was unavailable, was arrested on an undisclosed charge in connection with a Benedict Avenue domestic dispute and assault Tuesday.

Forwarded a report to the Huron County Juvenile Court and Huron County Prosecutor's office on a Milan Avenue juvenile who was driving without a valid license Tuesday.

Michael O. Gahagan, 48, of 19 Corwin St., was arrested on two warrants Tuesday charged with failure to appear on the original charges of theft and disorderly conduct. He currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

Responded to the report of someone hanging around a Bank Street home and found a needle commonly used for insulin in a dog house of the home Tuesday. The needle was logged into evidence.

An employee of Main Street School requested charges be filed against a juvenile who trespassed at school Tuesday.

Joseph M. Chavarria, 42, of 57 W. Elm St., was charged with driving with a suspended license after being involved in an accident Tuesday at the intersection of Woodlawn Avenue and East Ohio 61. Chavarria's vehicle was hit on the driver's side door by the vehicle driven by James A. Brutsche, 79, of 92 State St., who was traveling west on Ohio 61. Both drivers gave conflicting statements about whether the light was green or red in their lane of travel.

Danielle L. Statzer, 23, of 19 Grand Ave., was arrested today on two contempt of court warrants and taken to the Huron County Jail, where she remains in custody.

An East Elm Street resident reported today that a UPS package containing a children's toy had been stolen.

Responded to an alarm activation Tuesday at the Greenwich Township Trustee Hall on U.S. 224, Greenwich.

A Paul Road, Willard resident reported finding a duffle bad in his field Tuesday

A Fitchville River Road, New London, resident reported finding an Ohio temporary tag while mowing his lawn Tuesday. The tag number is N148207.

The Lorain County Sheriff's Office reported having Myron Friend, 46, of Lorain, in custody on a warrant Tuesday. He is serving a 30-day sentence the Huron County Jail on a failure to appear charge.

The Plymouth Police Department reported having Dustin L. Baker, 20, of Shiloh, in custody on a warrant Tuesday. He was charged with probation violation on the original conviction on trafficking in drugs. Baker currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.

A Pleasant Street, Willard, resident reported the theft of a chain saw and tool set Tuesday. She later recovered the chain saw.

A Zenobia Road, Wakeman, resident reported a four-wheeler driving in his field Tuesday.

A Townline Road 151 resident reported a suspicious vehicle parked in a driveway that goes back to the Verizon tower Tuesday.

An Ohio 13, Greenwich, resident accused a juvenile of assaulting him Tuesday. The Greenwich Police Department was dispatched to the scene.

A Peru Hollow Road resident reported a foster child in her care is threatening suicide Tuesday. She requested Huron County Children Services contact her.

Responded to a report of domestic abuse Tuesday on Peru Olena Road.

A Townline 111, Plymouth, resident reported her 7-year-old daughter was missing Tuesday. The resident called back and said she located her daughter in a walk-in closet.

A South Old State Road, Willard, resident reported a trespassing incident Monday.

A Hartland Center Road, Collins, resident reported someone was trespassing on a dirt bike Monday.

An area resident reported being bitten by a beagle Monday on Carroll Road, Collins.

The Greenwich Police Department reported having a 15-year-old Willard girl in custody on an undisclosed warrant Monday. NORWALK FIRE
