NORWALK The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court: Blaine L. Butler, 28, Sandusky. Violation date: March 2. Conviction date: May 1. Sentence: $600 fine, $65 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); on motion of the State of Ohio the charge was amended to a first offense DUI, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

NORWALK The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court:

Blaine L. Butler, 28, Sandusky. Violation date: March 2. Conviction date: May 1. Sentence: $600 fine, $65 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); on motion of the State of Ohio the charge was amended to a first offense DUI, a misdemeanor of the first degree.

Sarah J. Heilman, 22, Huron. Violation date: March 3. Conviction date: May 4. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from May 4 to Sept. 3.

Michael R. Perkins, 43, 170 W. Main St., Apt. 4, Norwalk. Violation date: March 31. Conviction date: May 1. Sentence: $1,100 fine, $65 costs, two-year license suspension and 180 days in jail, 150 days in jail suspended and the defendant placed on intensive supervision probation for a period of two years on the following conditions: defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years from this date; defendant shall follow all directives of the probation officer; defendant shall pay intensive supervision fees as directed by the probation officer; defendant shall consume no alcohol or drugs of abuse for two years; defendant shall attend counseling as directed by the probation officer; defendant shall pay fine and costs within 120 days.

Allen P. Weltin, 25, 37B Bouscay Ave., Norwalk. Violation date: May 3. Conviction date: May 7. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP.

David S. Horner, 31, 13 Hickory St., Norwalk. Violation date: May 6. Conviction date: May 7. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from May 21 to Nov. 6.

Jason J. Halbisen, 31, 602 Northwest St., Bellevue. Violation date: May 5. Conviction date: May 7. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from May 20 to Nov. 5; not valid for operation of a commercial vehicle.

Howard E. Thatcher, 47, 5207 Delematre Road, Monroeville. Violation date: May 5. Conviction date: May 7. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from May 20 to Nov. 5; not valid for operation of any commercial vehicle.
