After 27 years of working at Norwalk Municipal Court, Penny Stone is heading off into the sunset.
"I'm ready to travel and enjoy," the Wakeman woman said at her retirement celebration Wednesday. "Right now we have no trips planned, but we usually go on cruises."
A feature story about Stone was published on the front page of Thursday's Reflector.

Love the tiara!
Congratulations and many happy years of retirement. That said now to get down to the practical questions.
Will your old job position be opened up to outsiders?
Will your position only be available to in-house employees?
Or as most of today’s businesses trying to save costs have other employees absorbed your duties?
