Norwalk Church of Christ

Clarksfield UMC

CLARKSFIELD This church, located at 5151 Zenobia Road, worships at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. The Rev. Patty Jo Sheldon's sermon will be "Dandelion Christianity."

St. Mary/St. Anthony

The sacrament of the anointing of the sick will be celebrated at both parishes this weekend, starting one half hour before each Mass. At St. Mary the sacrament will be celebrated at 4 p.m. today and 8 a.m. Sunday. At St. Anthony the sacrament will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Sunday.

The adult faith formation group will discuss "Jesus in the Eucharist" at 9:30 a.m. Sunday at St. Anthony.

Wakeman Congregational

WAKEMAN This church, loated at 14 Abbott St., invites everyone to Sunday services. Sunday school begins at 9:30 a.m. and The Rev. Edgar Shelly conducts the worship service at 10:30.

There are two adult Sunday school classes, with each starting new topics. Joe Todd will lead a class studying Revelations (more information atwww.travelingdesertroads.com) and Marty Schuster will lead the second adult class on Romans.

The annual talent and service auction will be Sept. 22.

St. Paul Catholic, Norwalk

Children's Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated at the 11 a.m. Mass and Spanish Mass at 1:30 p.m. Sunday. Eucharistic ministers will be commissioned at all Masses this weekend. Wednesday evening prayer will be held at the church at 7.

The St. Paul Baptism ministry team meets with parents to explore the implications of the sacrament of baptism for them and their children. Upcoming dates for the three-part parent series are: April 30, May 7 and 14. Parents are encouraged to participate in the sessions early in their pregnancy. New Haven UMC

NEW HAVEN This church, located near Ohio 61 and U.S. 224, is having a Swiss steak dinner from 5 to 6:30 p.m. April 28. The cost is $7 per adult.

St. Peter Lutheran, Norwalk

This church will have the children of Christian Day Nursery School sing at the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.

Steuben UCC

STEUBEN Sunday is the Third Sunday of Easter. The scripture lessons, based on the theme "Encountering Christ," are Acts 9:1-6, (7-20); Psalm 30; Revelations 5:11-14; and John 21:1-19. The Rev. Patricia E. Welch, pastor and teacher, will lead worship during the 11 a.m. service. Large print and children's bulletins will be available.

St. Mary, Clyde

CLYDE This church's altar and rosary society is having its annual rummage sale. Drop-off day is Wednesday at 609 Vine St., Clyde.

This church continues its worship series, "Heroes: Are You Next on the List?" The Rev. Bruce Rzengota will lead worship. The Rev. Wayne Mushett will share a message on "Joseph: The Forgiving Hero." The Great Commission Coffee House will be open before and after the 9 and 10:45 a.m. worship services.
