Lt. Col. Marianne Bishop retired from the Air Force Reserve Dec. 31, 2006 after 22 years of combined active and reserve duty. She served from September 1984 until December 2006, during which she worked as a mental health nurse working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. Her first duty platoon was Wilford Hall Medical Center, San Antonio, Texas, followed by Clark Air Base, Republic of Philippines, Weisbaden Air Base, Germany; Lakenheath, England, Seymore Johnson Air Base, North Carolina and finally Wright Patterson in Dayton.

Lt. Col. Marianne Bishop retired from the Air Force Reserve Dec. 31, 2006 after 22 years of combined active and reserve duty.

She served from September 1984 until December 2006, during which she worked as a mental health nurse working in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. She is a graduate of St. Paul High School, her parents are Gilbert and Margaret Mainzer of Norwalk. She and her husband Dr. Jeffrey Bishop, retired Lt. Col. have four children and reside in Fairborn.
