Ohio does not force drivers to be retested once they get a license

Sometimes family members are faced with the difficult situation of trying to convince a loved one to turn in their keys. Be it a medical condition or deteriorating skills because of age or other physical aliments, sometimes drivers should simply not be on the road. However in Ohio, and most other states, the bureau of motor vehicles or its equivalent does not have the power to simply retest a driver for the sake of retesting.
