DUI convictions

NORWALK - The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court: Regina A. Sobieski, 35, 901 U.S. 250, New London. Violation date: Dec. 17, 2006. Conviction date: March 13, 2007. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from March 13 to June 17.

NORWALK — The following people recently were convicted of drunken driving in Norwalk Municipal Court:

Regina A. Sobieski, 35, 901 U.S. 250, New London. Violation date: Dec. 17, 2006. Conviction date: March 13, 2007. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of alcohol intervention program (AIP); defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from March 13 to June 17.

Scott M. White, 29, 3610 Townsend Angling Road, Collins. Violation date: Dec. 22, 2006. Conviction date: March 13, 2007. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving on proof of insurance and occupation from March 13 to June 22.

Michelle R. Dawley, 30, 1131 Cook Road, New London. Violation date: Feb. 17. Conviction date: March 13. Sentence: $600 fine, $55 costs, six-month license suspension and three days in jail; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP.

Lloyd L. Speer, Jr., 53, of Wellington. Violation date: Feb. 20. Conviction date: March 13. Sentence: $800 fine, $65 costs, two-year license suspension and 30 days in jail; defendant shall pay fines and costs within 180 days.

Rickard E. Brooker, Jr., 24, 117 Norwood Ave., Norwalk. Violation date: March 18. Conviction date: March 19. Sentence: $800 fine, $55 costs, one-year license suspension and 10 days in jail, seven days suspended and defendant placed on probation for a period of two years on the following conditions: defendant shall abide by laws and have no convictions for two years; defendant shall show proof of six months alcohol counseling by Oct. 15; defendant shall pay the fines and costs within 90 days; credited with $250 and three days in jail time upon completion of AIP; defendant shall have limited driving only on proof of insurance and occupation from April 2 to March 18, 2008.
