Norwalk DUI suspect skips court date

MILAN A Norwalk man charged with his eighth driving under the influence offense failed to appear for a Friday morning arraignment in Erie County Court. Eugene Wilson, 41, of 76A Whittlesey Ave., was expected to schedule a preliminary hearing on the fifth-degree felony if he came to court, bailiff William Feld said. He didn't know if Judge Paul Lux would issue a warrant for Wilson's arrest, because he said defense attorneys often contact the court to enter a plea.
