Edison hosting talent show

MILAN - Edison High School will host its annual All-Music Talent Show at 7 p.m. March 23 in the high school auditorium. This event is being sponsored by the Edison Music Boosters and organized by the Edison band council and directors. In order to participate in this years show, more than 80 acts were pre-auditioned on March 13. Much like "American Idol," the field of acts was trimmed to approximately 10 per level of adjudicating. There are four levels elementary, grades K to 3; intermediate, grades 4 to 6; middle school, grades 7 to 9; and high school, grades 10 to 12. All acts will be judged by professional faculty and musicians. Awards will be given to the top five acts in each level.

Tickets are for reserved seating only and will be available beginning Wednesday, only at Edison High. Tickets cost $5 for adults and $4 for student and senior citizens.
