Busy time for Huron County road projects

Scott Seitz2 • Jul 19, 2014 at 2:07 PM

It's crunch time for the Huron County Highway Department.

"We have two bridges under construction," engineer Joe Kovach said.

"The bridge on Sherman Norwich Road is just about done," he said. "That's a federally-funded bridge that came in a little less than $1 million."

Crews are also working on a bridge on Hartland Center Road.

And a number of roads are scheduled for the chip-and-seal treatment.
