Pair charged with public indecency

A man and woman have been charged with public indecency.

Avon Lake resident Jeffrey M. Noss, 29, and Angel M. Yarber, also 29, of 57 Baker St., Apt. 24, each were charged with the fourth-degree misdemeanor in connection with an incident Friday. Prosecutors filed the charge Wednesday in Norwalk Municipal Court.

Three Norwalk police officers responded to a Newton Street apartment at 9:38 p.m. to a sex-related public indecency complaint. Officer Larry Noftz was at the scene 36 minutes. No further information about the incident was available.

Noss and Yarber were issued summonses and are scheduled to be arraigned Monday. If convicted, they each face up to 30 days in the Huron County Jail and a $250 fine.
