TNS Regional News • Mar 24, 2014 at 7:07 PM

Akron police are crediting a YouTube viewer for helping investigators nab a suspect in two recent robberies.

Sharieff Isaiah, 20, of Wilson Street, has been charged with the February robberies of Church’s Chicken, at 1211 South Main St., and the Family Dollar, at 1750 South Main St.

Isaiah was arrested Saturday night in the 1200 block of Everton Drive by officers from the Akron Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Office Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force.

The department had posted videos on the popular Internet site from security cameras that had captured the robberies asking for the public’s help.
