Three people were injured and both drivers were cited in connection with a two-vehicle crash last week.
Willard firefighters transported the drivers, Ashley N. McHatten, 27, of 135 Park Ave., Apt. 13, Plymouth and Colten A. Howe, 22, of Galion and one of McHatten's passengers, Michael B. Hampton, 21, of the same address, to Mercy Willard Hospital with serious injuries.
McHatten's other passenger, Laken McHatten, a child who lives with her, wasn't injured. The child's age wasn't available.
Each driver and Hampton were charged with seatbelt violations in connection with the crash investigated by Trooper Evan Stevens, of the state Highway Patrol's Norwalk post. The accident happened at 3:15 p.m. Feb. 5.
Ashley McHatten also was charged with going left of center after her eastbound vehicle was hit in the front left by Howe, who was westbound on U.S. 224, according to the trooper's report.
The Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by McHatten and Howe's Mitsubishi Eclipse were towed from the scene with disabling damage.
