Norwalk Reflector Staff • Jan 31, 2014 at 10:53 PM

The National Weather Service in Cleveland on Friday issued the following hazardous weather outlook for Huron County and the surrounding areas:

ON SATURDAY MORNING BEFORE THE SNOW CHANGES TO RAIN THERE COULD BE

A BRIEF PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN.

RAINFALL AMOUNTS SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND EVENING SHOULD BE MAINLY

UNDER THREE QUARTERS OF AN INCH. MUCH OF THE RAIN SHOULD BE

ABSORBED INTO THE SNOW...HOWEVER...SOME PONDING OF WATER ON ROADS

COULD OCCUR. SOME MOVEMENT OF ICE IN THE RIVERS MAY OCCUR AND SOME

MINOR ICE JAMS MAY DEVELOP.

A STRONG WEATHER SYSTEM WILL AFFECT THE FORECAST AREA TUESDAY

THROUGH WEDNESDAY. DEPENDING ON THE TRACK OF THE LOW...THAT WILL

DETERMINE THE PRECIPITATION TYPE...WHETHER IT IS WILL BE ALL SNOW

OR A MIX OF WINTRY PRECIPITATION AND POSSIBLY SOME RAIN.
