A Norwalk teen will remain behind bars until his Sept. 5 trial.

Huron County Common Pleas Judge Jim Conway revoked the bond of defendant Justin E. Legg, 18, of 56 Jefferson St., during Monday's hearing.

Legg's $5,000 bond with a 10-percent provision was amended Aug. 5 to a personal recognizance and was released. That means he signed a court document promising he would show up for his next hearing.

In mid-August, probation officer Dexter Chandler had Legg undergo a drug test. Huron County Assistant Prosecutor Richard Woodruff said the defendant tested positive for Suboxone, opiates and marijuana.

"He's under investigation for some new crimes," Woodruff also told the judge.

Huron County Public Defender David Longo said he had no further comment except to say Legg "knew this was coming."

In mid-July, a Huron County grand jury indicted Legg on theft of drugs.
