A break-in defendant failed to show up for her sentencing hearing Thursday.

As a result, Huron County Common Pleas Judge Jim Conway issued an arrest warrant for Ava S. Sword, 33, of Rochester. In early November, she pleaded guilty to one count of breaking and entering for a May 15 incident when she stole a pipe from her husband's cousin.

"We suspect that it may be drug-related, but we could not pin that down," Huron County Prosecutor Russell Leffler said in November.

Conway ordered Sword, who earlier was released from jail on her own recognizance, be held without bond once she's arrested.
