Monroeville school officials taking next step after voters OK'd bond issue

Now that voters have approved a bond issue for school additions, a construction project adviser explained to board members their options related to putting together a team for construction.

For example, Matthew L. Sagone of the Columbus firm Squires Sanders told board members they could go the Design-Build route, proceed with a General Single Prime Contract, Construction Manager at Risk or Multiple Prime Contractors.

Dealing with multiple contractors could include those for HVAC, plumbing and general trades.
