For more than 25 years, Deb Cox has devoted her life to helping people.

The Norwalk Salvation Army office manager has tried to ensure people in need have food, secured motel rooms for them, made sure they had clothing, paid their utilities and took in their stray pets, among other things. Now, Cox and her family are persons in need after a fire destroyed their Woodlawn Avenue home on Oct. 11. (NOTE - To see pictures of the fire, click HERE.

A story about their ordeal and the community's response appears on the front page of Wednesday's Reflector.
