Ford hopes to answer questions in Lefty Grove field dispute Tuesday

An emotional Scott Ford talked about the past, present and future of Lefty Grove baseball.
The league, which has been active for 56 years, has been in the spotlight lately as it finds itself in a tug-of-war with the VFW about Field 3 or Ike Liedorff Memorial Field.
Information came to light the VFW intends to turn Field 3 into a football field for the Junior Truckers, in effect, putting an end to Lefty Grove's senior division.
Ford has called a meeting set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the First United Methodist Church, 60 W. Main St., to hopefully open a dialogue between the league, public and VFW.
