More trouble at city skate park

Scott Seitz2 • Jun 30, 2011 at 11:11 AM

The Norwalk Parks and Recreation Department quickly responded to an incident of vandalism at the city skate park.

Recently, two of the ramps have been spray-painted, one with the "F-word" while the other with the word "Smoky."

The St. Mary's Street location has been a source of trouble for the city over the years. Smoking, profanity and vandalism have all come up from time to time.

Joe Lindenberger, recreation director, said Bryan Marcum, parks director, handled the vandalism as soon as he was made aware of it. "It's already been painted over," Lindenberger said.
