A pair of Linwood Avenue sisters were sent to a detention center Wednesday after a hearing at Huron County Juvenile Court.
The girls, ages 17 and 14, have been in trouble lately for a variety of offenses, according to Chris Mushett, court administrator.
Mushett said the girls had been on electronically-monitored house arrest, but had violated terms of that probation.
The 17-year-old was in trouble recently for being caught under the influence of alcohol while at Norwalk High School. She and her sister were also involved with hosting a drinking party at their Linwood Avenue home.
