n Troopers are investigating a Jan. 6 hit-skip crash at the intersection of Jericho and Zenobia roads. The unknown driver of a silver 1996 Mercury Sable failed to yield for a Jericho Road stop sign crossing Zenobia Road and hit a ditch and utility pole. The suspect then fled the area.
n Alyssa C. Godfrey, 18, of 2350 Ohio 99, Monroeville, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after she skidded off the right side of Drake Road near Hill Road. She was not injured after hitting a utility pole and gas line.
n Rachel A. Montoney, 23, of Tiffin, hit a deer Wednesday on Centerton South Road.
n Kirsten L. Reitz, 18, of 312 Fitchville River Road, New London, was charged with failure to control Thursday after she went off the left side of Fitchville River Road and hit two mailboxes. He went back on the road, off the right side again and hit a ditch and stopped in the road. Reitz was not transported for minor injuries.
n The unknown driver of a tractor-trailer turned while heading west on U.S. 20 and hit a building on the right side of the road Thursday. The incident remains under investigation.
n Amy E. Cawrse, 39, of 557 Fitchville River Road, New London, hit a deer Friday on Ohio 162.
n Benjamin M. Cherry, 18, of 1590 Hanville Corners Road, Willard, was charged with failure to control Saturday after he fell asleep while heading north on Ohio 61. He went off the right side and hit a utility pole. Cherry was not transported for minor injuries.
n Wesley Newmeyer, 19, of 4675 Egypt Road, Willard, was charged with failure to control Saturday after he failed to negotiate a curve at the intersection of Townline Road 12 and Wuritz Road. He was heading north on Willoughby Road, went off the left side of Willoughby and hit a ditch.
n The Erie County Sheriff’s Office transferred a 9-1-1 call from a North U.S. 250 resident who reported a female suspect refused to leave his vehicle after she hit him Friday.

n Travis R. Valentine, 30, of 2948 Neal Zick Road, Willard, was arrested on two warrants Sunday and charged with failure to report to jail. The original charges were criminal damaging and criminal trespassing. Valentine currently is in custody at the Huron County Jail.
