Troopers are investigating a Jan. 6 hit-skip crash at the intersection of Jericho and Zenobia roads. The unknown driver of a silver 1996 Mercury Sable failed to yield for a Jericho Road stop sign crossing Zenobia Road and hit a ditch and utility pole. The suspect then fled the area.
Alyssa C. Godfrey, 18, of 2350 Ohio 99, Monroeville, was charged with failure to control Tuesday after she skidded off the right side of Drake Road near Hill Road. She was not injured after hitting a utility pole and gas line.

Kirsten L. Reitz, 18, of 312 Fitchville River Road, New London, was charged with failure to control Thursday after she went off the left side of Fitchville River Road and hit two mailboxes. He went back on the road, off the right side again and hit a ditch and stopped in the road. Reitz was not transported for minor injuries.
The unknown driver of a tractor-trailer turned while heading west on U.S. 20 and hit a building on the right side of the road Thursday. The incident remains under investigation.
