I was raised in the country, the outskirts of Fitchville to be exact. There were fields to the south, fields to the west, horses across the road and a kindly, retired couple next door. Life was good.
Fast forward several decades. Now I live in the country on the outskirts of Norwalk. There are fields to the west, fields to the north, horses across the road, and a kindly, retired couple just up the road next door. Life is good. By good, I mean strange. Is that Twilight Zone music I hear?
