Norwalk Public Library

The Norwalk Public Library regularly shows movies for adults, teens and families.

The next movie in the adult series is "Hollywoodland," which was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture for Ben Affleck's performance as TV-star George Reed. Reed played the title role in the television series "Adventures of Superman." The fact-based movie speculates about the circumstances of his mysterious death, which was officially a suicide, and suggests he may have been murdered.

"Hollywoodland" will be shown at 2 p.m. Saturday at the library's meeting room. It is rated R by the MPAA and runs 127 minutes. There will be opportunity for informal discussion afterwards for those interested. No registration is required, and the program is free. Pop and popcorn will be available.

Movie performance licensing has been paid for by the Friends of the Norwalk Public Library.

Call the library at (419) 668-6063 with any questions about the program.
