JUST LIKE OLD TIMES - Research into vitamins spurred by local man

It's commonly accepted that people can benefit from taking certain vitamin and mineral supplements during long periods to improve one's health and to help build up resistance to illness and disease. This theory was perfected in our world through the research and work of a Huron County boy Oscar Erf.
Born on his family's farm at 2621 Ohio 99 just south of Standartsburg, he attended the district school near Pontiac and was graduated from Monroeville High School in 1893. After working his way through college at The Ohio State University, he received his bachelor of science degree in 1899.
