As the holidays approach, Hospice of North Central Ohio will again illuminate the season with a Tree of Lights in Ashland, Loudonville, Mansfield, New London and Shelby. The lights on each tree symbolize a time of remembrance and appreciation for loved ones and friends.
As part of this annual tradition, a Tree of Lights Memorial Service will be held on Sunday at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center St., Ashland. Music will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the service will begin at 5. The service is open to the public and will conclude with an informal reception.
The public cansee the hospice trees throughout the holidays at Hospice House, 1050 Dauch Dr.; in Loudonville at Central Park; in Mansfield; at the Richland Carrousel Park; in New London next to the New London Library; and in Shelby at the McDonald's gazebo.
