The June 11-17 Willard Police Department blotter had the following highlights:
A Front Street resident reported a male trying to open her door. An officer advised the male was intoxicated, arrested and incarcerated. Baldemar Saavedra, 35, of 414 S. Myrtle Ave., Willard, was arrested for disorderly conduct intoxication.
A caller reported an accident in the 1100 block of South Conwell Avenue. Dewey Hatcher was charged with improper backing.
A Clark Street resident reported being threatened. The caller filled out a statement that was forwarded to the law director.
A Huron County Juvenile Court Probation Officer requested officers check on a juvenile who was on an ankle monitor who left the house. An officer advised the juvenile was home at the time and the mother stated they were having problems with the phone.
A St. Mary's Street resident reported someone was knocking on his door and leaving the area. An officer advised three subjects were observed in the area. Upon approaching the individuals, two fled and the other became disorderly and continued to do so after numerous requests to cease. Upon being arrested, the male resisted his arrest and made numerous threats to harm the officer. After being medically cleared, he was transported to the Huron County Jail. Bradley Carson Jones, 33, of 101 Spring St., Willard, was arrested for menacing, resisting arrest and persistent disorderly conduct intoxication.
A Woodbine Street resident reported a male asked for money and when they refused he took tools from their shed. An officer advised a male and female were located behind a business in the unit block of South Myrtle Avenue and they had two tool sets in their possession. The male also had an outstanding warrant. Jason Muhr, 29, whose address was unavailable, was arrested for theft and a warrant. He was released to the Huron County Jail. Honnie Muhr, 39, whose address was unavailable, was arrested for theft.
Nicole Risner, 21, of 662 Keefer St., Willard, was arrested on an Ontario Police Department contempt of court warrant and released to an Ontario officer.
An officer advised while arresting Honnie Muhr for theft, drug paraphernalia was found in her pocket. Honnie Muhr, 39, whose address was unavailable, was arrested for drug paraphernalia.
A West Emerald Street resident reported someone broke into his residence. The incident remains under investigation.
Mark D. Hall, 36, of 5046 Townline Road 12, Willard, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. He was transported to the Huron County Jail.
A South Conwell Avenue resident requested to speak with an officer regarding a theft. An officer advised two males were observed stealing several items from Guardian Manufacturing. The incident remains under investigation.
A caller reported she was assaulted by a female suspect in the 1000 block of South Main Street.
A caller reported a vehicle had been broken into in the 700 block of Park Street.
A caller from a local apartment complex reported two tenants saw a male take a bicycle that was tagged by an officer. The male stripped the bicycle and threw it in the dumpster.
An officer reported out with a van in the 1600 block of Conwell Avenue. An officer advised a female was in the vehicle that had an outstanding warrant from Wood County. Melissa Vandorn, 29, of Wayne, was arrested on a contempt of court warrant. She was transported to the Huron County Jail.
A caller reported a vehicle in the 300 block of Woodland Avenue was backing up and struck a lady who was standing nearby. Fidel G. Reyes, 29, of 11 S. Myrtle Ave., Willard, was charged with no operator's license and improper backing.
A caller from Hy-Miler reported a male would not leave and was bothering the employee. Martine Martinez, whose age and address was unavailable, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
A caller reported her daughter had left the residence on June 14 without permission. She requested an officer meet her at Georgia Manor as she had located her daughter there, but she had run into an apartment. An officer advised the female had left the area. The mother responded to the station and filled out missing person paperwork.
A caller reported domestic violence on Rae Court. An officer arrested Michael Schiffer, 45, of 414 Rae Court, Willard, on a contempt of court warrant and transported to the Huron County Jail.
A caller reported a suspected underage drinking party at Georgia Manor Apartments.
Canine officer reported assisting a Huron County sheriff's deputy on Townline Road 12.
A caller reported hitting a pole in the 200 block of Motson Street. Nicole Phillips, 26, of 5168 Old Military Road, Willard, was cited for reasonable control.
A complainant reported he was advised by the Ohio State Patrol that his vehicle had been involved in an accident. He came on station to report his vehicle had been stolen. Paperwork for stolen vehicle was completed.
A caller reported a possible domestic situation was taking place in a local apartment. An officer advised no domestic had occurred however, the male at the apartment had several outstanding warrants. Adam Cole, 19, of Tiro, was arrested on three contempt warrants from the Shelby Police Department. He was released to the Shelby Police Department.
A Pleasant Street resident requested an officer regarding a male who was at her home intoxicated and would not leave. Aubrey Lawrence, 27, of 314 Crestwood Drive, Willard, was arrested for disorderly conduct.
A report regarding an alleged child abuse case that involves three Washington Street juveniles. Police contacted Huron County Children Services about the matter.
A squad was dispatched to the Willard Police Department for a prisoner.
A Park Street resident reported the theft of lawn solar lights from her yard.
A caller reported one of his garbage trucks had been vandalized in the 200 block of East Emerald Street. An officer advised the truck had been struck with several paint balls.
A caller reported an accident in the 200 block of West Walton Avenue. Jeremy E. Williams, 33, of El Paso, Texas, was charged with improper backing.
A South Main Street resident reported a group of males were acting belligerent and throwing beer inside a vehicle that they were sitting in. Enrique Reyes, 37, of Willard, was charged with an open container violation and driving under the influence.
A caller reported vandalism done to Central Elementary School where a paint ball hit the front door.
An officer advised a male subject in the 200 block of South Main Street was found to be intoxicated and in possession of narcotics. Geronimo San Juan, 29, of Willard, was charged with disorderly conduct/intoxication and possession of a controlled substance.
A Dale Avenue resident requested to speak to an officer reference a possible Internet scam.
A squad was dispatched to the 100 block of Shady Lane Court for a victim from an assault.
A Shady Lane Court resident reported a subject having been assaulted in the woods behind the residence. The incident remains under investigation.
