Robin Weirauch, the Democrat hopeful to replace the late Paul Gillmor as this area's U.S. Represenative, will visit Norwalk Monday.
A fund-raising luncheon will be held at the Eagles Club at 151 Milan Avenue at 12:30 p.m. and is open to interested residents. Weirauch will speak to the issues of concern in our area and address how she would work to make changes that will impact us all.
The luncheon is sponsored by Mayor Sue Lesch, Huron County Commissioner Mike Adelman, Auditor Roland Tkach, Treasurer Kathleen Schaffer, and Engineer Joe Kovach.
Weirauch is running against Republican Robert Latta in a Dec. 11 special election. The winner earns the 5th District Congressional seat.
