MANSFIELD - What would happen if you could combine Evangelist Billy Graham with musician "Weird Al" Yankovic? You'd get ApologetiX, that Christian parody band, which will be performing a concert at 7 p.m. Saturday at Camp Mowana in Mansfield on Saturday.

With thirteen CDs and nearly a thousand concerts in their past, ApologetiX has been sharing the stories of the Bible using hit songs from the '50s through today with altered lyrics. They've re-done songs by an incredible variety of artists such as Elvis Presley, the Beatles, the Beach Boys, the Eagles, Pink Floyd, Eminem, Linkin Park, and Green Day.

The area ApologetiX concert will be held at Camp Mowana, 2276 Fleming Falls Road, just three miles north of Ohio 30 off of Ohio 42. Mowana is one of four Lutheran church camps in Ohio. The concert will be at Oswego Lodge and will be an outdoor concert if the weather cooperates. Limited bleacher seating is available, and concert-goers are encouraged to bring their blankets or lawn furniture. In case of inclement weather, the show will go on inside the lodge.

Tickets for this ApologetiX concert are available for $10 in advance of the show at Camp Mowana, The Bookery in Ontario, or through St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Day of show ticket sales will be $15 at the Camp only. St. Timothy Lutheran and Thrivent Financial for Lutherans are cooperating sponsors of the concert.

For more information about the ApologetiX concert at Camp Mowana call the Rev. Brian Peltomaa at (419) 571-2400.
