I am the mother of beautiful autistic twin 7-year-old girls. I found myself somewhat disturbed about the article that was printed about Christie Lane.
I certainly don't want the residents of Norwalk or anybody to get the wrong idea of the abilities which the school can do for the disabled.
The primary classroom that my daughters attend ranges in different types of disabilities. You would have to see for your own eyes what Erica Rock and Elaine Shaver have done for my daughters. I know that they put their hearts deeply into their job.
Nobody really knows why someone would feel they need to resort to violence or have a personal agenda against the school. I really hope the school is able to stay a safe and enjoyable experience for my daughters. This was an unfortunate situation for everyone that is involved. In closing, I would like to show my appreciation for a job well done by Christie Lane and the staff.
