In a recent meeting one chamber member mentioned their company had lowered their BWC costs by nearly 40 percent in one year by utilizing a Transitional Work Program. These programs are not difficult to set up and the returns are amazing. Find out for yourself the potential for savings and the numerous benefits for your workers.
The Employers Practices and Education Committee is sponsoring a free information seminar featuring Transitional Work (TW) and Functional Capacity Evaluations at 8 a.m. Wednesday at the Distance Learning Center at Norwalk High School. The seminar is free, sign in and breakfast starts at 7:30. A local business that has successfully implemented TW will relate its experience with the program along with BWC, FTMC and the chamber. There also will be information on how Functional Capacity Evaluations play a part in better managing your workers' comp costs and your workforce. Call the office today to RSVP.
