Adelman scholarships awarded

MONROEVILLE - Eleven members of the graduating Class of 2007 are recipients of the seventh annual Mike and Melodie Adelman Scholarships.

The students receiving the $500 scholarships are:

Nychole Gahris of Bellevue High School, who plans to attend the Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing.

Kathryn Schwab of Edison High School, who plans to attend BGSU Firelands.

Seth Adelman of Monroeville High School, who plans to attend Ohio Northern University.

Kent Marsh of New London High School, who plans to attend The Ohio State University.

Krista Huston of Norwalk High School, who plans to attend the University of Toledo.

Heather Stoller of Plymouth High School, who plans to attend Muskingum College.

Nicholas Schaffer of Seneca East High School, who plans to attend Hocking College.

Roberta Dawn Kuhlman of South Central High School, who plans to attend the Firelands Regional Medical Center School of Nursing.

Jennifer Bundschuh of St. Paul High School, who plans to attend the University of Akron.

Kori Roth of Western Reserve High School, who plans to attend Wright State University.

Stephanie Beverly of Willard High School, who plans to attend Cleveland State University.

"After reviewing the scholarship applications that were submitted, it's very clear that there are many outstanding students in our county," said Mike Adelman, a county commissioner. "My hope is that the presentation of these scholarships, if even in a small way, can be of some help."
