Work begins on old Norwalk Theatre

Bellevue High School graduate Grace Oddo performed “the first song in the show” composed by St. Paul grad Daniel Ruffing.
“We are reaching out now to construction (experts) and to architectural people.”
Owners/non-profit organization plans to have fine arts classes and summer camps.
Vision is “to bring visual arts, theater, dance and music back to this beautiful property.”
“Mamma Mia!,” “Chaplin” and “The Wizard of Oz” to be presented at South Euclid theater.
Full and partial scholarships are available for both.
Ten students also were inducted into Troupe 930 of the International Thespian Society.
Performances will be May 25 and 26 by the Renaissance Youth Opera Theatre.
Great Lakes Theater production at Cleveland’s Hanna Theatre features portrayals of Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley.
Cast includes more than 20 BGSU students from theatre, film and other majors.
Performances set for 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Bellevue Elementary School
