Olivia Smith and Ben Ringenberg marry in Monroeville

MONROEVILLE — Olivia Smith, of Norwalk, and Ben Ringenberg, of Monroeville, exchanged wedding vows Sept. 22, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville.

The Rev. Ron Schock officiated the ceremony. A reception was held at The Palm Tree Barn in Norwalk.

The bride’s sister, Victoria Smith of Norwalk, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Lynsey Welfle, of Norwalk; Madison Dorsey, Jordan Williams, and Amanda Wilhelm, all of Monroeville; and Rebecca Schaffer, of Columbus. Raena Ringenberg, of Norwalk, was junior bridesmaid. Lyza and Ivy Ringenberg and Elsie and Lorrie Welfle, all of Norwalk, were flower girls. 

The groom’s brother, Jordan Ringenberg of Findlay, served as best man. Groomsmen were Bryan Fritz, James Dorsey, and Mitch Brewer, all of Monroeville; Jake Leibold, of Bellevue; and Sam Schwan, of Columbus. Leo Ringenberg, of Norwalk, was ring bearer.

The bride is the daughter of John and Krista Smith, of Norwalk. She is a 2012 graduate of Monroeville High School and a 2015 graduate of Bowling Green State University. She is a registered nurse at Mount Carmel East, Columbus.

The groom is the son of John and Shelley Ringenberg, of Monroeville. He is a 2011 graduate of Monroeville High School and a 2014 graduate of Bowling Green State University. He is a project manager with Diyanni Homes in Reynoldsburg.

The couple now resides in New Albany.
