MILAN — The Edison High School Drama Club is kicking off the new year with two one-act plays Friday and Saturday.

Both “Ten Ways to Survive the End of the World and “The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza” are written by Don Zolidis.

“Ten Ways to Survive the End of the World” features a cast of 22 Edison Middle School students in grades six through eight. It is a fun, newly published comic how-to guide on surviving the many ways the world could end ranging from asteroid impact to nuclear Armageddon to killer bunnies

In “The Greek Mythology Olympiaganza,” two narrators attempt to cover a wide variety of famous Greek myths in 30 minutes. Learn what the birth of Zeus teaches us about Greek style parenting, see Pandora's to-do list and follow Jason and his team of super friends as they track down the Golden Fleece.

Performances will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Tickets will be on sale before each performance. All seating is general admission.
