NEW LONDON — Irene Williams, 75, of New London, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2020 at her residence. She was born Feb. 18, 1944 in Floyd County, Ky. to the late Bertha (Henderson) and Fred Parsons. Mrs. Williams was employed at the former VanDresser in Norwalk and Kents Sporting Goods, New London. She was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church and enjoyed clothing, holidays with family and friends, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Williams is survived by her husband, Howard “Rock” Williams; four daughters, Karen (Dennis) Masters of New London, Linda (Pard, deceased) Whitaker of Greenwich, Sharon (Benjamin) Jeffreys of Willard and Lisa (Ryan) Devore of New London; 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, sister Juanita Williams of Kentucky and brother Bernard Parsons of Perrysville. She was preceded in death by her son Silas Wayne Williams, grandson Aaron Lee Williams and sister Emogene Hunter.

Visitation will be begin 4 p.m. Monday until the time of the service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Little Pilgrim Home Church, 1487 US Highway 224, Ruggles Township, Ohio. Burial will be at the Day Cemetery. The staff of Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main St, New London, 44851 are in care of the arrangements.
