Danny Paul Mundy Sr.

NORWALK — Danny Paul Mundy Sr., 74, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully at home after a long battle with cancer.

He was born May 25, 1945, in Lakewood, Ohio, to Samuel and Patricia (Moore) Mundy.

Danny was a 1963 Norwalk St. Paul High School graduate and had worked for more than 40 years at R.R. Donnelly in Willard.

He loved feeding and taking care of the birds, yard work, the Cleveland Indians, casinos, and gardening, especially his tomatoes. Danny enjoyed trips to the flea market with his wife Sandra and cherished time spent with his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Danny was a former member of the Bronson Conservation League, and had enjoyed many fishing trips with his family.

Survivors include his loving wife of over 54 years, Sandra (Greenwald) Mundy; children, Danny Mundy Jr., Eric Lee (Stacey) Mundy and Patricia Louise (Aaron) Hauler; grandchildren, Amanda Kreps, Derek Mundy, Michael and Meghan Mundy, Carson, Layton and Gavin Hauler; great-grandchildren, Jillian and Juniper Kreps and Brady Fritz; brother, Thomas (Connie) Mundy; and nephew, Matthew (Roya) Mundy.

In addition to his parents, Danny was preceded in death by his grandson, Dylan Mundy, earlier this year.

Friends may call 5-8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 16, at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk.
