Born in Norwalk, he was the son of W.E. Reynolds. He spent his very early years in Norwalk. He then joined the service, where he was honorably discharged.
Michael was a lover of animals, especially his dogs. He loved collecting antique furniture and many other things, especially if he knew he could sell it and make a profit.
At the end of his life he had two special friends who never left his side, plus his special lady, Jean, with whom he said he spent the best years of his life. Near the end he asked to talk to his sister Pat. He always ended our talks by saying, “I love you sis.”
Michael is survived by his son, Ryan Reynolds; two grandchildren; two nieces and one nephew; sister, Pat; and brother-in-law, Don Sprunk.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ed Reynolds; and his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Iva Felter.
