He was born March 7, 1957, in Port Clinton and graduated from Norwalk High School. Dan served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a truck driver for Erie Blacktop since 1982. He was a member of the American Legion and loved to travel, fish, and spend time on the Jackson Street pier in Sandusky. Dan lived a good, strong life and loved his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife Rose (Hensley) Jackson; daughter Jessica Jackson; two sons Daniel Jackson Jr., and Zack Jackson; many grandchildren; three sisters Dottie (Richard) Krupp, Jane Leal, Sasie (Rudy) Keith; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dog Roxy.
Dan was preceded in death by his parents William and Marjorie (Reichard) Jackson and niece Teresa Jackson.
