Anna M. Breitigan

NORWALK — Anna M. Breitigan, 50, of Norwalk, passed away Monday, Dec. 9, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Anna was born Dec. 30, 1968 in Willard, Ohio, and was a graduate of Willard High School. She received her bachelors and masters degrees in business from Ashland University. Anna attended Milan Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with her family and Harley rides with her husband, Wayne. She was an accountant for the Norwalk Reflector and Sandusky Register for over 20 years and enjoyed summer cookouts with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Wayne A. Breitigan of Norwalk; children, Maria (Greg) Gilbert of Norwalk, Derek (Harley) Thornton of Tiro and Seth (Gwen) Thornton of Norwalk; grandchildren, Emily, Abi, Bradley, Annabella, Jasper, EJ and Chance; father, Wilbur E. Salyer of Greenwich and her brother, Raymond (Debra) Salyer of Fla., along with nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Maria (Hildebrand) Salyer and a grandson, Dylan Thornton.

Friends may call from from 4-7 p.m. Friday at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. A funeral service will occur 10 a.m. Saturday with Pastor Rod Hollen officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
