Terry Ray Evans

NORWALK — Terry Ray Evans, 61, of Norwalk, passed away Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019, in Stein Hospice Care Center.

He was born June 22, 1958, in Bellevue, and attended Margareta High School. He worked over 20 years for Janesville Products in Norwalk and was a member of the Sandusky Community Church of the Nazarene.

Terry was an avid sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and the Cleveland Indians. He cherished his family and cousins and enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling and the outdoors.

He is survived by his siblings, Vicky (Terry) Lyons of Florida, Tammy Penfield of Sandusky, Timothy (Julie) Evans of Castalia and Thomas “Randy” (Angie) Evans of Attica; special nephew, Tyler (Melissa) Evans of Attica; and other nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol S. Evans, Feb. 10, 2019; parents, Wendell R. Evans in December 1997 and Lois (Smith) Evans in June 2019; and his brother, Wendell Evans Jr. in 2015.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9, until services at noon, at Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main St., Norwalk, with Pastor David Flack officiating. Private interment will be held at a later date in Meadow Green Memorial Park in Huron.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the family in care of the funeral home.
