Edison, Norwalk, Seneca East marching bands to perform Saturday

MILAN — Edison High School once again will host its annual marching band “Review” beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday  at the Edison High School Stadium.

Featured will be performances by: Norwalk, Toledo Woodward, Seneca East, Mohawk, Buckeye and Toledo St. Francis DeSales high school bands and Edison High School combined with the Edison Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade bands and mini-majorettes.

The host band for the Review this year will be Heidelberg University from Tiffin Ohio under the direction of  Johnathon Waters.

“All proceeds will go to benefit the Edison music department for instrument and music purchases. We will also be hosting a can food drive. Donations of five cans of food will receive one free ticket,” said Denise Reilly, 
Edison band director. “Please be sure the cans have not expired, as these will not be accepted.” 

Tickets can be purchased at the gate beginning at 5 p.m. The show will begin with the playing of “The Star Spangled Banner” by Heidelberg University.
