GREENFIELD TOWNSHIP — A three-vehicle crash caused five injuries June 11 after a man ran a stop sign in Greenfield Township.

One driver, Tiffani Morgan, 36, of Willard, was suspected to have serious injuries, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Morgan was taken to Fisher-Titus Medical Center. However, an updated status on her condition wasn’t available. Four others were suspected to have sustained minor injuries.

The accident happened about 6:27 p.m.

Joseph Lieb, 48, of Norwalk, was eastbound on Ohio 162 when he failed to yield at the stop sign at the Ohio 99 intersection, according to the crash report.

Lieb drove into the intersection and was hit by a semi pulling a tanker trailer heading southbound on Ohio 99. The semi was driven by Thomas Taylor, 55, of Toledo. Troopers said Taylor pushed Lieb into the northbound lane of Ohio 99, causing Lieb to hit Morgan’s vehicle.

Morgan’s passenger, Christy N. Parks, 34, of Willard, sustained suspected minor injuries, troopers said. Her other passenger, a 12-year-old boy, wasn’t injured. His name was unavailable.

Lieb was taken to Willard Mercy Hospital for possibly minor injuries, as well as his passengers, Nathanieal M. Vitello, 36, of Monroeville, and Joshua P. Laser, 21, of North Fairfield. Vitello also was believed to have possible injuries, while troopers said Laser had suspected minor injuries.

Taylor reported no injuries.

Troopers said the crash remains under investigation.
