FTMC welcomes new chief info officer

Linda A. Stevenson has joined the Fisher-Titus Health system as chief information officer, according to Fisher-Titus president Brent Burkey.

For the past 10 years, Stevenson has been leading information technology projects at Southwest General Health Center, most recently representing Cerner Corporation as a senior project and client operations leader at the center. Prior to that she managed numerous technology and regulatory projects for major health systems including Cleveland Clinic and St. Vincent/St. John West Shore.

“I am pleased to welcome Linda to our information technology team at Fisher-Titus,” Burkey said. “She brings extensive experience in both clinical and administrative systems, having managed financial and clinical applications hospital wide, from registration through to billing and all clinical areas in between.”

Stevenson is a certified project management professional, a former member of the NOHIMSS board of directors, and has presented at national IT conferences. She is a recipient of a CHIME John Glaser Scholarship and was an Ohio Hospital Association Healthcare Worker of the Year nominee in 2014. Stevenson earned both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business administration from Cleveland State University, graduating summa cum laude each time.

Stevenson joins a staff of 33 information technology professionals at Fisher-Titus. Among other responsibilities, she will provide leadership over applications, including the Cerner EMR (electronic medical record).
