HURON — Chuck Kelley got the thrill of a lifetime with his first hole-in-one.

Kelley, 69, aced the 94-yard No. 7 hole June 17 at Thunderbird South in Huron.

Kelley used a pitching wedge and the shot was witnessed by playing partners Lowell Anderson and Roy Harless.

“I hit it behind the pin a couple of inches,” the Norwalk resident said. “It had some back-spin and it went in the hole. It was pretty neat.”
