GREENWICH — This village will welcome a brand new place to eat Friday — Oma’s Belgian Waffles & Cafe.

The former Belgian Waffle-on-a-Stick now has a permanent home to replace the traveling trailer. Oma’s, housed at 9 Main St., Greenwich, will hold its grand opening from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

The café menu serves everything from bacon and eggs and, of course, waffles-on-a-stick, as well as traditional waffles, to sandwiches and 1/2-pound to boba drinks, lattes, macchiatos and more

Besides the regular menu items, for the grand opening Opa’s also will be serving a special half-pound bratburgers.
