Norwalk Kiwanis honor Phillips, Sitterly and Toczek

The Norwalk Kiwanis has selected Norwalk High School seniors Macey Phillips, Jared Sitterly and Kristina Toczek as the April students of the month.

Phillips, the daughter of Erik and Kim Phillips, is a dancer at Cynthia Kniffin Dance Academy. She also is a barista at Sheri's Coffee House, member of Key Club, is in National Honors Society and has been on the principal's list all four years of high school. She plans to study special needs education at Miami University.

Sitterly, the son of Thomas and LouAnne Sitterly, is involved in Firelands Challenge, Foreign Language Club, Chess Club, works at Miller's Grocery, volunteers at Respite, is in National Honors Society and on the Honor Roll. He plans to attend BGSU Firelands.

Toczek is the daughter of Wayne and Jackie Toczek. She is a dancer at Northstar Dance Center, is a football and competition cheerleader, vice president of the National Honor Society, member of Key Club and is on the yearbook and newspaper staff. Kristina Toczek has been on the principal's list all four years of high school, earned scholastic newspaper awards, is a state qualifier for cheerleading, a World Dance Championship qualifier and a Hugh O’Brian Youth Leadership/HOBY participant. She plans to attend Ohio University for a degree in exercise physiology and plans to be an athletic trainer.
